This is a requirement to be able to import the AAU information into AES.

Please direct any roster questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Roster deadline is Wednesday, April 21st at 5:00pm! The earlier you get your rosters done, the easier it is to fix any issues that may arise. Rosters will be closed online by Friday, April 30th. Any changes after this time will need to be emailed to the address above.
This year's Can-Am Classic will be using Advanced Event Systems for its registration process. AES will be the website that is the choice of USA JNC Girls Championship, National Qualifiers, Regional’s, and many other events throughout the country.
The Capitol Sports Center staff will send out broadcast emails to inform you of other information and steps as they come available.
Entry fees must be received with completed entry form to be accepted into the tournament by 4/08/2021. All participants must have a current AAU membership. Rosters need to be submitted online by the roster deadline 4/21/2021.
The Can-Am Classic is happy to announce its implementation of the Stay to Play and Save policy. Although, this policy has been highly controversial in the volleyball community, it has become necessary to help combat hotels driving prices higher and higher. Over the years, we have had anywhere between 80 and 90 percent of our participants using rooms from the AES list. Unfortunately, as our tournament has grown, rates for downtown hotels have risen to as high as $184 a night. The best defense we have against these high prices, is to go to the Stay to Play and Save Policy.
In order to participate in the Can-Am Classic, each out-of-town team must get rooms from the AES Approved hotel block, unless that team is located within 60 miles of the TCF Center. There are two easy ways to do this:
Housing will open on Wednesday, September 1st at 9 AM Eastern time. You will be able to go online and book on www.advancedeventsystems.com or call us at 800-476-0060 ext. 118. Please be patient as our call volume is expected to be high. Please leave us a voicemail or send an e-mail for assistance and we will respond at our earliest convenience.
Teams can make room blocks or make individual reservations, it is up to what each club’s preference is and what is the easiest process for those groups. We are here to help and to make this process as easy as possible.
Get Recruited - 2022 Can-Am Classic Recruiting Combine - May 6th - Detroit!
The 2022 Can Am Classic Combine, in partnership with the Can Am Classic tournament, will be held on May 6th at the COBO Center (Detroit, MI ) and is open to any female high school age player, regardless if they are participating in the Can Am Classic or not.
Female Players Only!
The Can Am Classic Combine will be from 6:30 to 8 p. and will be promoted to every NCAA Division II, Division III, NAIA and Junior College Volleyball in the greater Great Lakes region!
Please note, that May 6th is still within the NCAA Division I Quiet Period, so no DI schools are allowed to attend - We will send the Player Information Packet to every NCAA Division I program in the greater Great Lakes Region!
The Player's name will be on a registered list, and at Combine check in, each player will be given a bib #, so college coaches can easily match player and contact information - Seniors will noted for quick identification for college coaches. Players should wear normal volleyball practice gear (no need to wear uniforms or shirts with a number on them).
Volleyball players will be divided by position and graduation year to allow attending college coaches to efficiently evaluate them. Each court will have a "court coach", to allow players to showcase their skills sets to the college coaches. The court coaches will put the players through volleyball drills within their specific positions, along with combining positions to illustrate group skill sets.
Parents are not allowed into the Combine, per the request of the college coaches - This allows the players to focus on skills and the college coaches to focus on evaluations. There will be a Recruiting Education Session for Parents, presented by a former 15 year NCAA Division I Head Coach!
COVID protocols will be sent to registered players/families as needed.
