SHAWN KELLY | Director of Indy Hoop Dreams
Shawn Kelly started his basketball career as a sophomore at Lloyd Memorial High School in Erlanger, KY (10 miles south of Cincinnati, OH). After many hours of training to enhance his athletic performance and basketball skills, Shawn helped lead Lloyd as far as any team in school history. Shawn was then awarded a scholarship to play at Benedictine College in northeast Kansas where he earned a degree in economics and was a four-year letter winner, finishing his career as the 22nd all-time leading scorer in school history.

Shawn then attended Florida State University and obtained a Masters degree in Public Policy. After years in the technical world and part-time coaching, Shawn decided it was time to concentrate on his love of basketball. Indy Hoop Dreams officially began in 2006.

Shawn is a proven leader and motivator of players of all ages who not only teaches the game of basketball, but teaches the importance of education and ethical/community responsibility.
