| For the most
part, the format for the 2008 season will be identical to that of
the past seasons although you will find a couple of changes over
last season.
The most significant change involves making the final league
day an optional tournament day. This change is the result of not
wanting to force teams to make a choice between competing in the
MPL league days and other major events including National Qualifier
Events. The format and scheduling of the tournament will be very
similar to a normal league day. Although it may be possible that
different competition/scoring formats will be experimented with. |

It will be required for the 2008 Midwest Power League that a
contact with each club have an e-mail address with Internet Access
and/or download capabilities. League information will be posted
to our web site on the Wednesday prior to the Sunday play date.
Although some club directors may not have access to the Internet,
it is very unlikely that a coach, a player, or a parent within
your club does not have internet access. Most libraries also provide
access. This should ease the communication process that club directors
experience. It will also expedite getting the information out
without relying on regular mail or fax.
