Would you like to jump higher?
Our goal at P.A.S.S. is to work with athletes on
improving and understanding how to be quick and
agile on the volleyball court, how to jump
higher and most importantly, how to keep their
body equally strong. So if moving quicker on the
court or jumping higher for those blocks is
important to you then the P.A.S.S. program is
right for you.
Class Begins: June 3rd, 2008 Dates: Every Tuesday and Thursday Time: 12:30-2:00pm
Congratulations to all our teams who
have qualified for the 2008 Junior Olympic Championships!
Thursday night in the NCAA Final Four, Circle City
Alumni, Katelyn Bishop, stepped on the floor with dreams
of reaching the NCAA Championship match. To do that, her
USC Trojans would have to upset the #1 seed, Stanford
Cardinals. Alas, it was not to be. USC actually had a
match point swing in game 5, but ended up dropping a
heart breaker 14-16 in the 5th game. In her final match,
she led the Trojans with 3 blocks. Circle City would
like to congratulate Katelyn on a fine career. #6 has
left the building.
Congratulations to all
Circle City Alumni who competed in the NCAA Tournament!
Three members of the Circle City Volleyball Club traveled to the USA
Volleyball High Performance Championships in Ft. Lauderdale,
Florida, to compete against other Region Teams in the
nation. Team Hoosier Region finished 3rd, bringing home the
Bronze medal while only losing one match the entire
tournament. The Circle City members included Shelby Gray
and Emily Reber of 15 Purple and Beth Mahurin of 14 Purple along with Head Coach Scott McQueen and Assistant
Coach John Armuth. Congratulations to all players and
coaches!

Bronze Medal
- 18 PURPLE CHEETAHZ -
Congratulations to the Circle City
18 Purple Cheetahz and their award winning
performance at the Junior Olympic Championships!
They won the Silver Open Division Championship and
brought home a shiny medal, finishing 9th overall!
Congratulations girls and good luck to you next
year. We are sure you will be as successful in your
next venture as you were here at Circle City.
- 17 PURPLE SQUIRRELS -
The 17 Purple Squirrels
started the tournament off with a great 5-0 start,
winning their pool behind great serving and a unique
ace cheer. Although the team had a tough second
pool, the Squirrels finished on a great note with 3
straight wins as the Bronze champion and 17th
overall. Way to go, Mighty Squirrels! We are excited
to see your success during the high school season!
- 16 BLACK -
Although the 16 Black team didn't
finish as high as they might have hoped, nationals
was a culmination of an entire season in which the
team overcame a lot of obstacles and large odds to
reach the goal of qualifying for nationals. We are
very proud of the girls for working so hard and representing what this club stands for in improving themselves individually and as a team.
- 15 PURPLE SABOTAGE -
Although the 15 Purple Sabotage team
was seeded last in the tourney, they proved their grit right off of the bat.
Beating the #1 seed in their pool and the #4 overall in the 15 Open division,
Sabotage finished a very tight pool with a 3-3 record. The team competed hard in every match and showed why they belonged in the open division, with great passing, setting, and timely hitting.
- 13 PURPLE CHAOS -
13 Purple Chaos was our first team to compete in Minnesota. After a
bit of a slow start, Team Chaos finished the last 3 days with a 6-1 record only losing in the finals of their bracket. The team showed a lot of heart and perseverance playing with only 7 players and finishing 26th
overall. Congratulations to all of the girls and coach Chris Due on a great season.
