Sam Deitz

15-Deitz Head Coach

Sam is a graduate of IUPUI currently working on her Master’s degree in developmental biology and genetics at IUPUI as well as a teaching fellowship at Warren Central High School. She graduated in 2006 from Greenwood Community High School where she played four years of varsity volleyball as an OH/RH and setter. She continues to play in sand leagues around Indianapolis and in intramurals at IUPUI. This year she enters her second year at Circle City after a successful season coaching the 15-4s in 2011. The 15-4s played competitively as a National Team for the 2011 season and finished with a winning record as well as several top five finishes in tournaments. Sam’s goal for the season is to show players the importance of fundamental skills and encourage a passion and perseverance which extends beyond the volleyball court.
