Kristine started her volleyball career at Roncalli High School, winning a State Championship in 1998 and clinching two County Championships in 1999 and 2000. During her junior year, Kristine was ranked 4th in the state for service aces and, as a senior, received Academic All-State Honorable Mention honors. She began playing at the Circle City Volleyball Club at age twelve and, in her 17- and 18-and-under seasons, attended two Junior National Championships.
Kristine then received a scholarship to the University of Southern Indiana and instantly secured a starting position her freshman year. During her sophomore year, the team made school history by winning the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship for the 1st time in 2002 and again in 2004. They also made 2 NCAA Tournament appearances and were Regional Semi-Finalists.
In 1997, Kristine began her coaching career as a volunteer assistant for the 8th grade team at St. Marks. From there, she helped with camps and clinics at Roncalli High School and, in college, became a counselor for the USI summer camps. From 2004-2005, Kristine started the Southern Select Volleyball Camp, a summer satellite camp, where she traveled to numerous high schools in the Southern Indiana and Kentucky areas. During that time she coached at the Evansville River City Volleyball Club, training the 15, 16, and 17 & under teams for 3 years. Before coming to Circle City, Kristine was the JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant at Evansville Reitz High School.
This will be Kristine’s 3rd season at Circle City. Last year as the 16-2s Head Coach her team won the Hoosier Regional Qualifier and secured a bid in the 16 National Division.
Kristine is currently in her first year as the IUPUI Assistant Volleyball Coach. She resides in Indianapolis and continues to give private lessons year round.
