Kosmo Mobareki

During his career, Mobareki has worked 16 sectionals, 16 regionals, and five state finals along with numerous collegiate and professional matches. Kosmo is USA National referee for indoor and beach work numerous NCAA, AVP men’s and woman’s matches.

Kosmo coach at Circle City volleyball club for 7 season, he has trained players at all ages and skill levels for past 30 years. Kosmo played on the Italian National team in several international events, MVP three times.

Mobareki was selected for this honor by a committee representing the official’s associations. In Indiana there are 26 associations made up of men and women who give up much of their personal time to assist in providing wholesome, worthwhile, and healthy activities for the student athletes in our state. Statewide, there are more than 8,000 officials licensed by the IHSAA in 11 sports.

A licensed referee for 21 years, Mobareki has also been an IHSAA clinician. He is a member of the Fall Creek Officials Association, for whom he has also served as a clinician and rules interpreter for several years. He served as volleyball chairman from 1992-94 as well as volleyball president from 1994-98.

He is also a licensed basketball official. Mobareki is a 1980 graduate of the University of Chicago, where he earned a degree in Criminal Justice. He currently works for Bleeker Law Firm in the Investigation and Research Department.
