Donnie Sharp is in his second year as a coach for Circle City. Last year he was an assistant coach for the 12/2 Black team. Last year this team exceeded all expectations and had a very successful season with several first place finishes.
Through high school and college Donnie played mostly basketball moving toward volleyball later.
Donnie was recently the Director of AJAA/Volleyball Association for two seasons and helped develop this into an excellent program for youth volleyball. Donnie has been married for 24 years and has two daughters; Sami Sharp plays for Avon High School and Circle City.

A concept that has really helped me is constructive criticism. When players make mistakes; don’t jump on them right away; make at least one positive comment with your criticism./p>
Coaching Philosophy
My coaching philosophy is pretty simple. It’s about getting a group of kids to play together as a team, play hard, and reach their ultimate potential while having fun.
