This will be Chris’s 7th year at Circle City. Chris is coming off of three unbelievable seasons. In 2010 he was 13-1s head coach, in 2009 as the 151s head coach and last year as the 161s head coach. Two seasons ago 13 Purple finished 2nd at the Central Zone Invitational in Louisville, 3rd at the Central Zone Championships, 2nd at the Bluegrass Pre-Qualifier, 2nd at the Big South National Qualifier before finally finishing fifth in the Country at USAV Nationals. In 2009 his 15-Purple team won the Regional Qualifer and finished 3rd at USAV Nationals. Last year Chris’s team finished 3rd at USAV Nationals. Prior to Chris coming to Circle he coached at the Sky High Volleyball Club for 3 years. In those 3 years Chris coached a variety of teams between the 15’s and 17’s age level. He also coached the 17-1’s boys team for 2 years. He finished 5th at the Great Lakes Qualifier, 9th at Asics Nationals and won the Bronze at USAV Junior Nationals.

Chris is currently the head coach at Franklin Community HS. Prior to coaching at Franklin, he coached at Monrovia & Bloomington H.S. North for 2 years, one year as a head coach and an assistant coach the year before that. As a head coach he finished the season with a 24-8 record and was the Conference Indiana Champs. Chris was also an assistant for 3 years at St. Viator H.S. in Illinois from 2002-2004 and assisted the boys program in 2003.

Chris’s career includes playing at Schaumburg H.S. in Illinois from ‘94-’97 losing in the sweet sixteen his senior year. He also played club at Western Illinois University in ‘98 finishing 9th at NIRSA Nationals. He competed in USAV from’00-’03. In ‘01 he finished 5th and in ‘02 he finished 1st at Nationals in the BB level. Chris also competed on the beach and grass from ‘96-’03, winning many tournaments at the A/AA level. In ‘97 he finished 3rd at the Junior AVP in Chicago.
