Bill Bastin

Bill Bastin is in his thirteenth year as a coach for Circle City, qualifying teams to attend the Junior National Championships eleven times with a 1st place finish in the 17 Club Division in 2005.

This is also Bill's third year as head volleyball coach at Carmel High School. In 2007 Carmel finished 3rd in the State.  Previously, he coached for six years at Triton Central High School in Shelby County, where he led his team to three county championships and three sectional wins.

Coach Bastin is a licensed volleyball referee for IHSAA (for both boys and girls volleyball), PAVO (collegiate level) and USA (Junior Olympic level). He and his wife, Thoma, reside in Shelby County. Their daughter, Chelsea, is a senior at IUPUI on a volleyball scholarship.
