    CONGRATULATIONS
    STATE CHAMPIONS!
    Congratulations to Lauren McIntyre, Jenna Queally, Julie Sylvester & the Indianapolis Cathedral Fighting Irish for winning the 2006 4A State Championship! In the semi-finals, Cathedral took the match from New Albany (36-3) in a 4 game win to advance to the finals. After losing to Muncie Central earlier in the year, Cathedral pulled out a great win in four games against the Bearcats (33-7) in the final match. The Cathedral Fighting Irish finished the year with a 38-2 record and State Championship trophy. What an exciting way to end the year!

    Also, with a spectacular come from behind win in an exciting 5 game match, Paige Weber, Kate Eldred, Kaylee Schembra, Meghan Snyder, Caitlin Conover, Jordan Sudzina, Caitlin Hansen and the Roncalli Rebels (31-5) won the 2006 3A State Championship! The Rebels rallied past the Delta Eagles in the semi-finals, winning in four. In the finals, Roncalli faced Mishawaka Marian (32-7). After being down two games to zero, Roncalli came back in the third game with a close 25-22 win. With a huge momentum swing and a boost of confidence, Roncalli pulled out a 21-25, 30-32, 25-22, 25-16, 15-9 win. Senior setter Paige Weber was honored with the Mental Attitude award. Congratulations!!!!

    15-Purple Win Gold at Atlanta in 15 American!!!
    Congratulations to Holly Wasmund, Bailey Yeager, Shea Doran, and MVP Kelly Faris for making the 15-American All-Tournament Team! What a great performance by ALL players and coaches!
    18-Purple Finish Runner-up in the 18 American Division!
    Congratulations to Hilary Houston, Megan Rehmer and Carolyn Holstein for being named to the 18-American All-Tournament Team! Everyone did an phenomenal job - we are so proud of you!
    Circle City 17-Purple finish 5th in 17-Open!
    Congratulations to Paige Weber for being named to the 17 Open All-Tournament Team. What a contributing effort by all team members and coaches!
    Circle City 16-Purple finished in the top 10 out
    of 48 teams by finishing Runner-up in Silver in the
    16 American Division. We are so proud of you!
    Circle City 14-Purple won Flight 4 in the
    14-National Division and finished 33rd. Not bad for
    the girl's first time at nationals! Way to go Wildcats!
